Employer Sponsored Visas are further categorised into:
- Subclass 186 Direct Entry
- Subclass 186 TRT
- Subclass 186 Labour Agreement You must have an occupation that is on the list of eligible skilled occupations have at least 3 years relevant work experience, unless you are exempt have a positive skills assessment, unless you are exempt.
The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa has 3 streams:
Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) permanent stay
Direct Entry stream:
This visa allows skilled employer-designated workers to live and work permanently in Australia.
For direct Entry Stream:
- You must be nominated by an Australian employer
- Your occupation must be on the relevant list of eligibility skilled occupation.
- You must have at least competent English.
Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) permanent stay
Labour agreement stream:
This visa allows skilled employer-designated workers to live and work permanently in Australia. Employment contract streams may be suitable if you are currently working or will work for an employer who is a party to your employment contract.
For Labour agreement stream:
- The employer must have a labour agreement
Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) permanent stay
Temporary Residence Transition stream:
This visa allows skilled employer-designated workers to live and work permanently in Australia.
For Temporary Residence Transition Stream:
- Must hold 457, TSS or associated bridge visa A, B, or C
- As a rule, you must work full time for your employer for at least 3 years
- You must be nominated by your employer
